What to wear

This set is rich, romantic, and moody (deep burgundy draping, candlelight vibes, and red roses). The easiest way to look amazing is to wear something that either contrasts the backdrop or feels intentionally luxe.

Best colors for this set

  • cream, ivory, white, champagne

  • blush, dusty rose, soft pink

  • black (always a win on this background)

  • gold, bronze, metallic accents

  • camel/tan, warm neutrals

  • deep jewel tones (emerald, navy, plum) if you want drama

Colors to be careful with

  • the exact same burgundy/red as the backdrop (it can blend in). If you love red, choose a lighter red, brighter true red, or add contrast with a light coat, denim jacket, or gold accessories.

  • neon colors and bright athletic tones (they fight the mood)

Outfit ideas that photograph beautifully here

  • a satin or silky dress/top (champagne, blush, black)

  • a fitted sweater dress, turtleneck, or knit set (cream or black)

  • a blazer + dress or blazer + jeans look

  • a classic black dress with gold jewelry

  • denim + cream sweater for a cute, cozy vibe

  • for men: black/charcoal, navy, or cream sweater, a jacket, or a clean button-up

Couples and families: coordinate, don’t match
Pick 2–3 main colors and repeat them. Example combos:

  • cream + black + gold

  • blush + cream + tan

  • black + champagne + burgundy accents

  • navy + cream + gold

Quick tips that make a big difference

  • keep patterns simple (solids photograph best). If you do a pattern, keep it subtle and timeless.

  • avoid large logos and busy graphics

  • consider how you’ll look sitting on the couch (wrinkle-prone fabrics and short skirts can be tricky)

  • bring one small accessory for variety: a jacket, scarf, or statement earrings (easy “second look” without changing outfits)
